So there I am. Standing out in my garden staring at the wall, deep in non-thought, when I realise I’m looking straight at a paw print. The thing is this paw print is in a brick (not the mortar), in a wall, six feet off the ground. I’m presuming it isn’t one of my cats (Taxi or Velcro). This has been there along time and I believe these bricks belonged to the old house that stood on this site, so it’s probably older than me. Hmmm. Fox, cat, small dog? Time to get my urban tracking head on.

Hello Simon. What the hell is an urban tracking head? And where can i get some. Do you think it will also work here in the countryside?
P.
It seems to me the print would have to be made in soft clay, prior to the brick being fired. Probably the mason’s dog.
